BIDDING

Q: I am new to on-line auctions; can I try out the system first?

We have a fantasy auction room where you can try out the system and get a feel for things without risking your hard earned cash. You will however have to register first to get a bidding ID - but do not fear, we won't charge you for any bids made in the fantasy auction.

Q: How do I place a bid?

We have tried to make the bidding process as simple as possible - check out how it works

Q: Do bids include VAT and delivery?

All bids in the Morgan Auction exclude VAT (@17.5%) and are subject to delivery charges.

Q: How much does it cost to bid?

There is no cost of bidding. Unlike most auctions, we do not charge any buyers premiums or commissions - the amount you pay is what you bid (plus VAT and delivery).

Q: How do the bid increments work?

Each lot shows a bid increment (relative to the value of the lot); your bid must be placed in multiples of this amount. For example if a lot has a bid increment of £4 and currently stands at £16, the next bid should be £20, then £24 etc.

Q: What is a proxy bid and how does the automated bidding system work?

The proxy system allows you to put a maximum bid on a lot and will then bid automatically for you up to your maximum price - whilst ensuring that you buy the lot for the lowest possible price. It also means that you don't have to re-bid anytime that you are out bid. If your proxy is exceeded, you will receive an e-mail and you can then decide whether to raise the stakes!

Q: Do I have to use the proxy system?

No, if you happier simply bidding the next increment you can do so - the automated bidding system is there just to make life easier should you want to use it.

REGISTERING

Q: How do I register to bid?

Simply go into the register to bid section. Enter all your details and submit your registration - you will be e-mailed back with a user name or password. Once you receive this you can start bidding.

Q: I am concerned about entering my credit card details?

Don't worry - your card details are entered onto a secure server and will only be charged for any winnings bids that you make on the Morgan Auction. No other charges will be made to your account.

Q: My details have changed - how do I amend them?

On the home page there is a facility to update any of your details. Please do this if you have moved or got a new credit card. Remember to enter a new expiry date when your credit card expires.

WARRANTIES

Q: What guarantee do I get on goods bought from Morgan Auctions?

Guarantees vary from lot to lot - the precise warranty details are explained in each individual lot

description.

Q: What does DOA warranty mean?

DOA stands for Dead On Arrival - this means that the equipment is guaranteed to be working on delivery but no more than that. In such instances we offer a 7 day DOA warranty - this means that you've got seven days to check that your purchase is in good working order. If it isn't please let us know immediately and we'll sort it out.

DELIVERY

Q: Do prices include delivery?

Afraid not - all lots are subject to delivery charges. Please note charges are for UK mainland only (excluding Northern Scotland) - please enquire for other delivery charges

Q: When can I expect my delivery?

We aim to dispatch all lots within 5 working days of the end of the auction. If you have specific delivery requirements please let us know.

Q: I buy lots most days - how can I save on delivery?

If you are a regular buyer, please contact us and we can arrange better rates for bulk deliveries.

THE LOTS

Q: When does the auction start?

There is no single starting time; unlike a conventional auction, each lot has it's own starting and finishing time. There is always a wide selection of lots on the Morgan Auction.

Q: How long does each lot last?

Most last 24 hours or so but they vary - equally new lots go under the hammer all the time so keep checking for the latest lots.

Q: How do I know what the reserve price is on each lot?

There are no reserve prices in the Morgan Auction - all lots are sold without reserve!
