| Why do I need to register to bid?
Registration ensures that the system remains secure, and that
no-one else can bid in your own name. All bids placed on the system
require the entry of a username and password, thus identifying
the bid as your own.
On registering, you must supply your own details, along with
your own unique username and password, and these will be used
to deliver your goods in the event of winning the bidding for
a particular lot.
To enable swift processing of your winning bids, we will also
ask for your credit/debit card details. These will be stored securely
and will only be used by Morgan Computers Ltd in the event of
you succesfully winning a lot. Note that Morgan Computers Ltd
will not charge your credit/debit card until goods have been despatched.
The Auction System uses your email address to inform you of bids
placed against you, bids placed for you automatically by the system,
and if you win the bidding for a particular lot. Therefore, it
is essential that your registration details are accurate.
All registrations will be promptly confirmed by email, as soon
as you receive confirmation, you can start bidding.
If you are not already registered, please go to our registration
page.

Can I try the system out without
commitment?
We have provided a 'Fantasy Auction Room' for exactly that purpose.
The Fantasy Auction works in exactly the same way as the real
auction, except that you will not have to pay for an item if you
win!
Our Fantasy Auction room will be open whenever the real auction
is open, so if you want to get to grips with the system, this
is a great place to start. Please note that you must register
before you visit the Fantasy Auction Room. You can start bidding
as soon as you receive email confirmation of your registration.
If you are already registered, you can start
placing fantasy bids now.

Why do I have to place a maximum
bid?
All bids placed in Morgan Auction are specified as a maximum
bid. If you decide the maximum bid you are willing to place for
an item, the system will place the minimum bid possible for you,
whilst still ensuring that you are the highest bidder for this
lot.
If another bidder places a larger bid than you, the system will
automatically place another bid for you, and will inform you by
email of your new bid value. If another bidder places a larger
bid than your maximum bid, you will be emailed, but the sytem
will not place a new bid for you. You must return to the auction
and place a new maximum bid yourself.
This system allows you to simply and easily decide how much you
are willing to pay for an item, whilst still making sure that
you pay the minimum required to win that lot.

Why does the system bid for me?
Simple, it means that you don't have to keep returning to the
site time and time again every time another user outbids you.
Of course, you will be kept informed by email whenever the system
bids for you, and we will never bid more than your specified maximum.
